The extra anti-infantry damage provided by incinerators rarely makes a difference on a unit that already has overwhelming anti-infantry firepower, and they are not much better than bolters hitting on 2+ (incinerators also don't benefit from +1 to wound, in most cases). Conversely, losing half of your melee attacks makes the unit very weak in.

Purifier Squad? Very new to Grey Knights and 40k in general. I'm trying to work out the role/purpose of purifier squads? As far as I can tell they just have a different psychic ability and a tiny boost in leadership. Why would you pick those over a strike squad or an interceptor squad for example?
